Lumir has participated in various and meaningful
satellite projects in the field of
the national satellite project, possessing product technology
that has been proven by those projects.

  • Achieved high performance
    (large capacity, small size and light weight low power consumption) and
    low cost by localizing the payload IDHU (Image Data Handling Unit) for
    CAS500 (500 kg-class Compact Advanced Satellite of Korea) Nos.
    1, 2, and 4 for the first time.

  • Developed the SAR
    payload control device
    for KOMPSAT-6.

  • Developed a satellite bus
    power subsystem EGSE
    for KOMPSAT-7 and EO/IR
    observation/reconnaissance satellites.

  • Developed DTNPL
    (delay-tolerant network payload)
    for the KPLO.

the SAR payload for the small satellite,
based on the technology of small-size and lightweight design.

Korea's first manufacturing process certified for
commercial satellites based on
the European Space Agency
(ESA) quality standards.

Lumir has acquired certification for
the manufacturing process of space grade parts based on
the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS) from
the Korea Aerospace Research Institute.
Lumir has manufacturing facilities and
equipment specializing in satellite development for this purpose.
