Product details

SAR Satellite Constellation for Round-the-clock & All-Weather Observation

The LumirSat-X constellation of 18 small SAR satellites ensures less than 1 hour revisit and collects real-time imagery and data for Region of Interest (ROI). The revisit time of the constellation will be shortened as more satellites join the constellation; and the constellation system will be improved through continuous technology development. Our customers will have direct access to dedicated platform for SAR imageries with actionable insights extracted by Lumir’s proprietary processing and analysis software SARDIP™.

New Satellite Launch Every Year

Starting with our demonstration model launch in 2023, Lumir will build a constellation of 18 small SAR satellites. A further deployment schedule will be arranged subject to satellite data service market conditions.

Orbit Optimized for Change Detection

Lumir’s 18-satellite constellation flies in a sun-synchronous orbit at different inclination angles. On a daily basis, each SAR satellite collects SAR data from anywhere on Earth and also detects surface changes by repeating the ground track in 24 hours.

SAR Data Fulfilling a Customer’s Operational Needs

Lumir’s small SAR satellite satisfies the needs of our customers by offering optimal information generated using X-band, C-band and X/C-band.
